Course Description
This standard helps learners understand their responsibilities for keeping children and young people safe. Even when working primarily with adults, staff may still encounter children through family visits, volunteers, community settings or home-care environments. Learners will explore the types of child abuse, common signs and indicators, and what actions to take if they are worried about a child’s safety or wellbeing.
