Promoting Good Mental Health for Staff
Course Description
There are a number of mental health challenges that people may experience. This course discusses the impact of poor mental health on quality of life and explores strategies to support mental health such as sleep, nutrition, staying active, staying connected and finding meaning/purpose in activities.

Dr Stephanie Oldroyd is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and qualified Coach working in the NHS. She is currently Head of the Psychological Therapies Service in Buckinghamshire. She has worked in Mental Health Services for over 20 years and has specialised in therapeutic work with older people, their carers and families in both mental health and dementia services. She has held senior management and clinical director roles focusing on developing services and strategy in line with NHS principles and plans. She is passionate about learning and engaging with service users to ensure services provide the best possible care to those who use them.
