We are delighted to announce ‘Overture’, our new recruitment and learning model. The model is specifically created for the Care sector. We all know that recruitment and retention of a highly engaged and skilled workforce is a challenge within our sector. We want to collate industry best practice and develop a wider recruitment and retention strategy.
Our sector sees 25-50% drop out during pre-employment; and we believe better engagement will improve this.
That’s why we’re working in partnership with Cohesion and Care Friends to design a best practice model, Overture, to collate industry best practice and develop a wider recruitment and retention strategy.
How are we testing the model?
- Working with a leading care provider to introduce online learning during pre-employment stages of the recruitment process.
- Sharing case study results after the initial 6 months.
- We plan on evolving the model to offer this training during the application and assessment stage of recruitment and to ask for recommendations through the Care Friends App.
